Description:
Monospace is a hybrid space concept combining workshop, office, and event functions. The challenge was to communicate this dual-purpose environment clearly and make the transition between productivity and social experience understandable and attractive for potential users.
-
The concept is built around a seamless transformation of the space from a functional daytime workshop environment into an evening event setting. During the day, the space functions as a structured office setup for workshops and collaborative work. In the evening, it shifts into a social event atmosphere with music, catering, and a more relaxed spatial arrangement. This “two worlds in one space” idea defines the core of the Monospace experience.
The accompanying Monospace magazine introduces the concept visually through a contemporary editorial design, presenting both aspects of the space—structured daytime productivity and vibrant evening events–in a clear narrative format.
-
I contributed to the visual communication and editorial design of the Monospace concept. This included developing layouts for the Monospace magazine and supporting the visual translation of the space identity across print and presentation materials.
-
The result is a clear and visually engaging communication system that explains the hybrid nature of Monospace in an accessible way. The magazine and supporting materials successfully highlight the transformation between workshop and event usage, positioning Monospace as a flexible, modern space for both work and social experiences.
